J. Augur Design is the creation of Judy Augur, a longtime maker of one-of-a-kind bags, accessories, and decor handcrafted from reclaimed vintage materials. Each piece is made slowly, one at a time—crafted with intention, narrative, and a sensitivity to the origins of the materials.

For more than 25 years, my practice has grown from a love of found objects into a full-time studio rooted in sustainability, utility, and individuality. I work with weathered leathers, antique textiles, and salvaged hardware to create pieces that are both durable and soulful. No two are ever the same.

This is not about chasing trends—it’s about honoring materials, trusting instinct, and building with what we already have. I believe in beauty that’s earned over time, and in objects that carry a sense of place and history.
