A couple Navajo bags on my workbench–freshly trimmed and ready to go. Made from a 1940’s hand woven Ganado Navajo rug. The red in the weaving leans toward vermillion, rather than the more typical deep carmine we associate with the traditional Navajo color palette. The bags’ bases are crafted from vintage leathers and feature antique Navajo sterling silver and turquoise conchos. We strive to source the best antique and vintage materials to use in every component of our bags–including the liners. Hand made in our Claremont, California studio–no two are alike
